What is the future of work? And what are the tools that people will need in order to collaborate and be productive?
As an enterprise innovation consultant at The Walt Disney Company, I worked with senior leadership to envision a holistic employee digital experience.
The first step was understanding a complex global population. What do people want? What do they do? Where do they struggle?
Next was identifying the moments that matter and creating mobile-first solutions as elegant as the consumer experiences we use every day. I developed concepts, frameworks, designs and prototypes. And an over-arching future-vision strategy.
Here is a sampling of the process and some designs I am able to share.

At PUSH Offices, we developed two digital products under my leadership which are currently seeking Angel investment.
A kids' video streaming app enables parents to connect with their children through video entertainment. For iOS and Apple TV.
Flashpoint, a peer-to-peer crowdfunding toolkit, allows small businesses to raise money from their customers and fans.
As product designer, I wore different hats at different stages of development, while leading and mentoring a team of visual designers, motion designers and engineers. My roles included business strategist, user researcher, data analyst, UX designer, prototyper and brand evangelist.
The designs are proprietary. Here is a sampling of the process.
Indiegogo, one of the world's largest crowdfunding platforms, wanted to displace Kickstarter as the market leader.
But how?
PUSH Offices led the 2014 corporate strategy which included the need for a new brand identity and overhaul of Indiegogo.com.
I led the UX team which developed a new way to explore, search for and display Indiegogo campaigns. I participated in the brand work which resulted in an award-winning, iconic logo and identity system, and I co-authored the Indiegogo Manifesto and tagline - Together Do Anything.
The collaboration and work product were exceptional.

What is the future of television? How will robots change the way we live in our homes? What if we no longer owned any media, but instead had access to all media, all the time?
PUSH Offices, in partnership with Samsung Design America, answered these questions and more. I led the experience strategy, concept work, UX, design, prototyping and filming of the robot concept.
Due to project confidentiality, the future vision work is unable to be shown. The work received praise from global creative chief Chris Bangle as well as the Korean-based Samsung executives. Here is a sampling of the process.

In 2013, AARP was at a crossroads. 78 million baby boomers were eligible for membership. Only they didn't want to join a "senior" organization.
AARP came to BermanBraun to re-think the value of an AARP membership.
Together, we conceptualized a three-prong approach: help boomers rediscover passion in their lives (Life Reimagined), provide opportunities for making a difference (Create The Good), and give boomers a savvy, relevant editorial experience (Turn, renamed Purple Clover).
I led the team that brought Purple Clover to life.

Creating the first fantasy football game for the NFL was one of the biggest and most exciting challenges of my career. Observing the habits of die-hard fantasy players, I created an interface that streamlined team management functions during the week while providing an exciting second-screen experience during the games. The resulting product brought fans closer to the game, with easy registration, quick responsiveness, real-time visualizations and play-by-play video.
Launched in 2010, NFL Fantasy has been an unprecedented success, averaging 5.2 hours of gameplay per week.

In 2008, most Nintendo DS and Wii games were designed for boys. By observing tween girls, EA had the idea to create a safe space where girls could play, craft, get inspired and contribute to a larger community. I helped flush out the Charm Girls concept, both in-game and online, where girls earned "charms" by playing games, making fashions, exploring levels and interacting with other girls in a safe environment.

It's hard to remember a time before Netflix streaming, Hulu and HBO GO, when broadcast video was only available on network websites, viewed through clunky stand-alone players. I worked with a small team to help change all that. Along the way, we reinvented how to navigate and search for video content, how to rate favorite videos, how to edit video clips and how to select user-friendly advertising formats (2008).

How did Yahoo! Movies take on their #1 competitor when that competitor was IMDB? The answer lay in creating a theatrical experience online. By using cinematic, immersive imagery and simplifying the organizing principle around "Go See It", the site created value for passionate movie fans.

I helped champion the vision of a celebrity portal within the Yahoo! Network. We launched OMG! In the summer of 2007 to critical and celebrity acclaim. I earned four patents for work on OMG!, which continues to be the comScore Entertainment News leader. In 2009, OMG! won the Webby Award for Best Celebrity/Fan Site; in 2012 it was a Webby Award Nominee for Best Celebrity/Fan Site.
I also led the team responsible for reinventing the Yahoo! page structure, which was adopted by all properties 2006 and 2007.
My work for Marvel earned Yahoo! a patent.
Amgen wanted to reinvent their brand but their science was changing. Working with Amgen.com stakeholders and the Genex creative team, I led the digital experience strategy which uncovered new insights and resulted in a radically different vision - to bring Amgen science to life.

In 2004, I helped redefine Technicolor's online business by centralizing and automating all ordering, warehousing, approving and shipping of merchandise nationwide.
I interviewed customers, identifying points of pain in Technicolor's operations. Prototyping different solutions, I helped management conceptualize a new organization structure around online efficiency and customer retention.
The final application exceeded customer expectations and paid for itself in less than four months through efficiencies gained online.

In 2005, I helped Toyota evolve their global Intranet from a document repository to a community-based hub of daily activity.
The big idea was to combine marketing, sales, training, career-growth and company information under one roof, with one login for all global employees. Using a sophisticated network of permissions and logic, content was dynamically displayed depending on one's role and geo-location, all tied to an employee's calendar and daily activity.
